Pi Greco
The speaker says a number, and the kid has to put the right pieces in the right place.
Arduino + Ohm's law

How it works
Learning numbers with your hands.
Pi Greco is a game for kids made of coloured bricks: digits from 0 to 5 and the four operators. The speaker announces a number and the kid has to build it by plugging the right pieces, in the right order, onto the base.
To tell which piece sits in each slot, the Arduino needs no fancy sensors: every brick carries a different resistor and Ohm's law does the rest.
Components
Bricks
Digits and operators on coloured bricks, easy to grab and plug in.
Ohm's law
Each piece has its own resistance: by reading the voltage, the Arduino knows which piece is where.
Arduino and speaker
The Arduino announces the number through the speaker and checks whether the answer is right.
